We Help F&B Outlets Understand Their Own Numbers
Saffronix was built around one idea — that a cafe or restaurant owner should not need a data team to know which items are working and which ones aren't.
Back to HomeStarted With a Menu and a Spreadsheet
Saffronix grew out of conversations with outlet owners in Kuala Lumpur who had years of sales data sitting in their POS systems — and no clear way to read it. They knew something wasn't working on their menu, but couldn't pinpoint what, or when the pattern had started.
Our founders brought together backgrounds in data analysis and food service operations to build a practical alternative: structured reviews that any manager can act on, without needing to hire a full analytics function.
Since opening our Kuala Lumpur office, we've worked with independent cafes, small restaurant groups, and multi-outlet operators across Malaysia. Each engagement is shaped around the outlet's actual data and operational rhythm — not a generic template.
Readable Data for Every Outlet
We want every F&B operator in Malaysia to be able to look at their own sales figures and understand what they're seeing. Not through a complicated dashboard that needs a specialist to maintain, but through a clear panel built around the way their outlet works.
Practical over elaborate. We build views that a busy manager can check in under five minutes.
Honest framing. We present figures without spin — including the items that aren't performing.
Independence after handover. We leave every outlet with the tools and knowledge to continue on their own.
People Behind the Panels
A small team with specific experience in F&B operations and data analysis — focused on the Malaysian market.

Our Standards & Practices
Every engagement follows a structured process to keep output consistent and useful.
Data Confidentiality
Client sales data is handled under a clear agreement. We do not retain, share, or use outlet data beyond the agreed scope of each project.
Structured Review Process
Each review follows a consistent checklist covering menu performance, stock movement, and seasonal patterns — adapted to the outlet's actual data.
Staff Training Included
Where dashboard setup is part of the engagement, a training session is always included so your team can update and read the panels independently.
Written Outputs
Every engagement concludes with a written summary or maintenance guide — a document your team can refer back to long after the project closes.
Periodic Review Option
Multi-outlet clients receive a structured review cycle — scheduled check-ins that keep the data view current as the menu and stock picture changes over time.
Clear Communication
We avoid jargon in all client-facing documents and discussions. If something needs explaining, we explain it in plain language before moving forward.
F&B Data Insight in Malaysia
Malaysian food and beverage outlets operate in a competitive, price-sensitive market. Decisions about what to keep on the menu, how much to order, and which items to promote are made frequently — and often without a clear data view to support them.
Saffronix fills that gap by working directly with outlet data — POS exports, stock logs, or simple sales records — and turning it into panels that support those decisions. We work in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and our engagements are sized for independent operators as well as small to mid-sized groups.
Our Kuala Lumpur base gives us proximity to the outlets we serve. We conduct review sessions in person when that works better, and remotely when it's more practical. Either way, the goal is the same: a clear picture of what the data shows and what your team can do with it.
We are not a software company. We don't sell subscriptions or platform licences. Our service is a human engagement — structured, documented, and designed to leave your outlet in a better position than when we arrived.
